** I Let You Go by Clare Mackintosh

I Let You Go is a thriller as deliciously twisted as The Girl On The Train and the back stories of the detectives who try to untangle the murder are on point. I did not think that the stories of the mother of the murdered child and the suspected murderess worked anywhere as well. It never sounded quite right, somehow. But if you are most about plots, you will enjoy the layers and the unexpected ending.
