Works Well With Others is a lighthearted business guide to success, definitely written by and for men. In particular, I loved the chapter on when and how to be intimidating, or not, but women trying to use the techniques would sadly be labeled as pushy, I think.
The author tells many personal stories (including how he was hired at Esquire, and promptly called his mom, how sweet). Much of the advice is commonplace (e.g. look people in the eye) but delivered in a mostly playful and highly readable pacake. And there are great sections on small talk and office parties.
