A Mind to Murder is not the best installment in the Adam Dalgliesh series, but the set of suspects P.D. James assembles here is quite delicious. The crime occurs in a psychiatric clinic where the physicians hate the director (and, in some cases, each other!) and maintain a strict class barrier with the rest of the staff. LSD is used to treat patients! The petty jealousies and intrigues amongst the staff kept me happily interested in the plot, which nicely comes back on itself at the end.
