Risk by Colin Harrison

In Risk, a sedate attorney is asked by his ex-boss’s wife to untangle the mystery of the death of her son. He is soon plunged in a world of Russian mobsters, foreign hand models (never thought of them before, I bet!), shady supers, and eventually a very personal surprise. A very enjoyable mystery with novel-worthy characters.
